Bill Laurance (UK) – solo – uitverkocht!

Snarky Puppy toetsenist Bill Laurance is een absolute alleskunner. Net als zijn collegabandleden Michael League en Cory Henry heeft ook Laurance inmiddels een reputatie opgebouwd met projecten die hij naast Snarky Puppy initieert. Naast toetsenist is Laurance componist, arrangeur en producer en maakt hij soundtracks voor film en tv. Met zijn muzikale Snarky Puppy-maatjes Michael League en Robert ‘Sput’ Searight bracht hij onder de noemer The Bill Laurance Project zijn debuutalbum Flint uit in 2014, gevolgd door het soloalbum Swift in 2015. Daarna volgden twee nieuwe League/Searight samenwerkingen Aftersun en Live At Union Chapel in 2016. Intussen heeft Laurance zich ook bewezen als een innemende solist, waarbij hij de energie van zijn albums weet vast te houden en een verrassende link legt tussen jazz, klassiek en wereldmuziek.

Dinner & Jazz Voorafgaand aan het concert in de Grote Zaal wordt om 19:00 uur een speciale jazz maaltijd geserveerd in de foyer. Hiervoor is een combiticket te koop via onderstaande ticketbutton. Dit ticket is ook meteen het toegangsbewijs voor het programma. Informatie voor Studentenpas-/Ooievaarspashouders: Tickets aan de kassa € 9,-, op vertoon van de pas ; combiticket dinner & jazz (inclusief drankje): € 21,-. Reserveer uw combiticket Voor een combiticket dient u uw maaltijd tot uiterlijk 2 dagen vóór het concert te bevestigen via info@projazz.nl. In de mail s.v.p. naam, achternaam en telefoonnummer vermelden. Geef ook aan of uw voorkeur uitgaat naar vlees of vegetarisch. Bij de maaltijd is een drankje naar keuze inbegrepen. De reservering is pas definitief nadat deze per email door ons is bevestigd.

Dit concert wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met Mondriaan Jazz en maakt deel uit van de serie “ProJazz in het Koorenhuis”. Een serie met avondvullende programma’s èn de mogelijkheid om vooraf een hapje te eten in de foyer.

Snarky Puppy keyboard player Bill Laurance is a downright allrounder. Like his collegue players of the band Michael League and Cory Henry, also Laurance has built a reputation with projects which he initiated besides Snarky Puppy. As a keyboard player Laurance is also a componist, arranger and producer and he makes soundtracks for film and tv. With his musical Snarky Puppy mates Michael League and Robert ‘Sput’ Searight he released his debut album Flint under the name of The Bill Laurance Project in 2014, followed by his soloalbum Swift in 2015. Two new partnerships of League/Searight followed: Aftersun and Live At Union Chapel in 2016.
In the meantime Laurence proved himself to be a delightful soloist, holding on the energy of his albums and making a surprising link between jazz, classical music and world music.

You can buy a combination ticket via the ticketbutton below. This ticket is also your entrance ticket for the programme. Information for Studentenpass-/Ooievaarspass: Tickets at the cash desk € 9,-, by showing the pass ; combiticket dinner & jazz (incl. 1 drink): € 21,-. Make a reservation for your combiticket: You can reserve this ticket until, at the latest, 2 days before the concert via info@projazz.nl. Please note your name, your last name, telephone-number and pass-number in the mail. You can also mention your preferred choice fort he dinner: meat or vegetarian.

This concert is organised in association with Mondriaan Jazz and is part of the series “ProJazz at the Koorenhuis”. The series consists of a complete programme during the whole evening and even the possibility to have dinner before in the foyer.
